Coronavirus Update: Blake Vets

With the country going back into lockdown we understand that you may have questions about your appointments and any future appointments. We have put together a question and answers below that will hopefully clarify it all for you.

What are Blake's opening hours?

Both sites are open the same as normal, there are no changes to the opening times.

If I have an appointment already booked in during Lockdown, will I need to change or cancel it?

No, all of our current appointments will stand.

Can I make new appointments during lockdown?

We will be taking new appointments throughout the lockdown and will continue to assist with any emergency situations when you need us. We will however need to restrict certain services during the lockdown, they are:

  • Dog Neutering
  • Routine Nail clips

Can I bring my pet into the practice?

We are asking that all owners bring face masks and these are worn during any interaction with any members of our team, where possible we are asking you to remain in your vehicle and the Vet/ Nurse will come and meet you.  Please ask any additional questions you have while you are seeing your Vet/ Nurse outside. Once the appointment has been concluded you will be asked to pop in to the surgery to settle any outstanding bills, please use hand sanitisers at the door.

I have been feeling unwell or had symptoms on Coronavirus, should I come in for my appointment?

No, please give us a call and we will rebook for you when you are feeling better. Please refer to government advice.

We will do our best to maintain our high levels of care and service during your visit to us, please be understanding that due to the circumstances there may be a small delay before seeing you for your appointment. If in the unlikely event of an excessive delay then please feel free to call our reception for an update.

We are here when you need us, please stay safe and if you have any concerns regarding your pets well being then do give us a call on 01278 451592 (Bridgwater) or 01278 794794 (Burnham).

This is all based on current government advice, this may change throughout the lockdown.
