Performing acts of veterinary surgery since 2002. After qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), she dabbled in mixed practice for 4 years, before transitioning solely to companion animal work. Over the last 16 years she has: Undertaken further studies and achieved a CertAVP, Developed an interest in laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) and set up the laparoscopic service at Blake Vets, performing over 250 laparoscopic spays to date. Caroline spent 15 months working in Phuket, Thailand as the Medical Director of the Soi Dog Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation and the largest animal charity in Asia. Currently she is enrolled on a 2 year surgical certificate course.

Out side of work Caroline is a (self-confessed) compulsive (though not to a clinical degree) bicyclist and shuffler (running at very low speeds). She has been known to undertake triathlons, usually in sunny locations. Other interests include growing vegetables (badly) and baking (occasionally with home grown produce).
