Karen qualified from Cambridge University in 1990. She settled in the South West after moving here in 1996 to complete a two- year Residency in Small Animal Primary Care at Bristol Veterinary School. Over the years she has been able to develop a broad range of continually evolving small animal medical interests dependent on her role at the time. In recent years she has been able to focus on aiming to provide a more holistic approach to our pets in all stages of their life. These are especially with respect to the early recognition of arthritis and chronic pain management, the care of our elderly patients, management of common skin conditions and exploring ways that we can help make visits to the vets a more positive enjoyable experience for the animals we care for.
When not at work she enjoys gardening for wildlife, cycling, and outdoor swimming.
